HMR Contracting was engaged to complete a full vegetation and land-clearing project for a housing development site in North Canterbury, Christchurch. The scope required complete removal of fence-line vegetation, trees, root systems, and site preparation, with all material processed responsibly and reused where possible.

Client Challenge
The site required a contractor capable of managing the entire vegetation removal process from start to finish. This included careful mechanical felling of trees along fence lines, manual felling of larger trees, processing material on site, and leaving the ground in a clean, tidy condition ready for development.
The client needed one team to manage everything, without multiple contractors or unfinished stages.
